Dashain

Dashain is the longest most auspicious festival in Nepalese annual calendar. Dashain is national festival in Nepal .the festival falls in September or October,starting.In that time weather is fair and mild there is no more mud and dust .Dashain is mainly for Hindu but celebrated both Hindu and Buddhist worship Durga god in Manley in Dashain
.From shukla paksha (bright lunar forthright of the month of Ashvin and ending on purnima,the full moon,among the 15 days  is celebrated,the most important day are the first dray,seventh eight ,ninth and tenth.people return from all parts of the world,as well as different country ,to celebrate together .and all government office,educational institution and all office remain closed during the festival.
1 ST Day Ggastasthapana Dashain
Ghatasthapana falls n the first day,On this day the kalasha is filled with holy the  water which is the covered with cow dung and sewnwith barley seeds. then the kalasha is put in the center of a rectangular sand block.the remaing bed of sand is also seeded with grains.and starts puja to god Durga and the che kalasha is kept away from direct  sunlight.and holy water is offered to it every day so that by the 10 day on the festival the seeds will have grown on five or six inches long yellow grass,the sacred grass is known s Jamar.
Fulpati seventh day
Fulpati is celebration on the seventh day of dashain the royal kalasha filled with holy water banana,stlks jamara and sugar cane tied with red cloth is carried by Brahmans on a decorated maha -asthami palanquin under a gold tipped and embroidered umbrella.

Eighty day maha asthami

the  eight day is called mahaasthami .The favorite worship and sacrifice to Durga and kali in creases.on this day many orthodox Hindus will be feasting,sacrifices are held in almost every hose through out day .The night of the eight  day called kal ratri.
The ninth day is called Nawami

ninth day in Dashain Navami

Temple of mother goddess are filled with people from dawn till dusk.Animals mostly  black buffaloes are her blessing Military bands play war, tunes, guns, boom and offices with beautiful decorated medals in full  uniform sand there .When the function ends the courtyard is filled an kale deep with blood on this very day the god vishvakarma the God of creative is also worshiped
All factories vehicles any machinery instruments and thing from which e make a living worshiped

The tenth day is Daishain

On this day a mixture of rice yogurt and  by women is prepared by women this prepared  is known tika ,Elder put this tika and Jamar on the forehead of younger relatives to bless them ,with abundance in the up coming years Elders give small money to younger relatives at the along with the blessing
